BHP , the world’s biggest mining group, has chosen PT Adaro Energy TBK (ADRO) as local partner to help develop its Maruwai coal mine in Indonesia, less than a year after canning the project. Adaro, Indonesia’s second largest thermal coal producer, will get a 25 percent stake in Maruwai and provide valuable local expertise since it has operating mines nearby the project, a BHP spokesman said.
