Jakarta - PT Custodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) will launch a system of area investors who aim to provide protection to investors and create transparency in the capital market on Thursday (18/6/2009) in Jakarta. KSEI have carried out simulations (hand on training) with the final member of the stock (AB) on Thursday (11/6/2009).

"Simulation done to introduce new facilities and explain the function and mechanism of the use of facilities for public investors and the area around the Indonesian capital market participants," said Director KSEI, Ananta Wiyogo in his written statement on Monday (15.6.2009).

KSEI Management stated, all the preparations concerning the system, business and technical operations, as well as socialization to the account holders had been held in February and March 2009. In addition, this facility has been inspected by an independent consultant and declared safe to operate on June 18, 2009.

This facility enables account holders to give access to their customers to see the effects of ownership positions and effects of mutations or other portfolios in the sub-accounts owned KSEI. The main purpose of this facility is to provide transparency of information and protection of assets and the investor's portfolio.
